• Experienced cardiac sonographer with over 18 years in clinical cardiology and 13 years specialising in cardiac ultrasound.
• Bachelor of Health Science, a Diploma in Cardiac Technology, an Advanced Specialty Certificate in Adult Echocardiography, and a Master of Culture, Health and Medicine.
• Senior clinical cardiac sonographer at the Hobart Heart Centre, and the Royal Hobart Hospital as a clinical educator for the College of Intensive Care Medicine trainees.
• Extensive experience in education and curriculum development. She recently played a key role in designing and leading the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science (Cardiac) at the University of Auckland, including accreditation processes and development of both clinical and theoretical assessments.
