Bonita Anderson

Bonita Anderson is a highly experienced Cardiac Sonographer with over 40 years in echocardiography. She served in many Echo leadership roles including:
- Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for 15 years, coordinating the Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound from 2005 to 2013.
- Author of two widely used echocardiography textbooks and has contributed to several others, with her work incorporated into teaching programs across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Europe.
- American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), where she served on the Board of Directors as the inaugural International Representative. Her contributions extend across multiple committees, editorial boards, and accreditation bodies within Australia and internationally.
- Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) and the Australasian Sonographers Association (FASA), and has received several distinguished honours, including the ASA Pru Pratten Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award, the ASE Meritorious Service Award, and the ASE Sonographer Lifetime Achievement Award.
