Dr Bronwyn Scarr

Dr Bronwyn Scarr is a consultant anaesthetist at The Alfred Hospital, Melbourne, with subspecialty expertise in cardiothoracic anaesthesiology. She holds advanced certification in perioperative transoesophageal echocardiography through the National Board of Echocardiography.

Dr Scarr is Deputy Director of Education and Training and is actively involved in registrar and consultant education, simulation-based training, and is a fellowship examinator. She has a strong interest in echocardiography education and its integration into perioperative practice,  and broader interests in clinical teaching and leadership.
