Lorraine Hanley

Lorraine Hanley is a highly experienced cardiac sonographer and sonography lead, with over 25 years working across the UK and Australia, currently based at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. 

Professional Roles & Academic Positions

• Adult echo, advanced echo (with a specialist interest in structural heart echo/pre and periprocedural imaging), adult congenital echo, stress echo
• Lecturer with the Medical Sonography (Cardiac) stream at Adelaide University
• Previous committee member with the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), with presence on the Departmental Accreditation Committee and Transoesophageal Echo Committee Previous Cardiac sonographer led TOE (UK advanced practitioner) including fully independent diagnostic lists and providing TOE guidance for complex structural interventions
• Lecturer with the Medical Sonography (Cardiac) stream at Adelaide University
